Présentation de Antoine Petit
Antoine Petit is a distinguished university professor who has held the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the CNRS since January 24, 2018.
He obtained a teaching degree and a PhD in computer science from Université Paris Diderot, focusing on formal methods for the specification and verification of parallel systems in real time.
His academic career spanned from 1984 to 2004, during which he served at various institutions, including Université d'Orléans and ENS Cachan.
He also held significant roles in the French Research Ministry and the CNRS, where he was involved in the Information and Communication Science and Technologies Department.
In 2006, he became the head of the Paris-Rocquencourt research center at Inria and was appointed Chairman and CEO of Inria in 2014.
